Can crimes from the same incident be stacked?

No, you must have been brought to the brig before to receive an elevated sentence.

Can crimes committed during the same incident be stacked?

No, they cannot. Only the highest crime is used.

What do Corporate and Security Crimes count as?

Corporate and Security crimes always elevate to demotion, and they are not higher than Capital.

What do Infractions count as?

Infractions are handled by the Fine Evasion crime. They cannot be elevated.

So, if someone commits a minor crime, and I have to brig them, then commits a major crime like punching the Captain, that is a Capital offense?

Yes, that is not an exception to the rule.
